Prof. Dr. Ronald S.J. Tuninga is Vice President Europe, Middle East, and Africa at AACSB International and was Vice President Academic Affairs at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences in Apeldoorn, Professor of International Business at the HAN, Professor and Board Member Audencia Business School and Professor Emeritus at Kingston University London and Honorary Dean at AVT Business School in Copenhagen. He was Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean of Kingston Business School London. He was Director of the PhD Programme at the Open University and the Director Dean of the Maastricht School of Management. Before coming to Maastricht he was the Associate Dean and Director MBA Programs at Nyenrode Business University (The Netherlands). He was responsible for the full-time MBA program, the Rochester-Nyenrode Executive MBA program, and the part-time MBA program in cooperation with Kellogg School of Management (U.S.A.) and the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa). Prof. Tuninga has been the Academic Dean at the Faculty of Business Administration at the Open University in the Netherlands. He was an Assistant Professor of Marketing and International Business at Rutgers University in New Jersey (USA) and a visiting professor at the Eindhoven University of Technology, The Copenhagen Business School, and Odense University.
His research publications have appeared in such journals as the Journal of Macromarketing, Managerial and Decision Economics, the Irish Marketing Review, the Scandinavian International Business Review, the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Materials Management, Bedrijfskunde, The Journal of Transnational Management and Proceedings of International Conferences. He has lectured extensively both in North and South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Prof. Tuninga is involved in many international projects funded by the Dutch Government, World Bank, European Union and other international organizations. He has been a consultant for companies such as Melitta North America and GE and a partner of the Holland Consulting Group.
